Overview
If you're seeing the error message: “This license is locked” on your EVO Console, it means the license is currently tied to another device or was not properly released from a previous session.
How to Unlock the EVO Console License

Restart the Console First

Close and reopen the EVO Console.

In many cases, this can reinitiate the license handshake and resolve the issue automatically.

Use the Unlock Button (if visible)

If the login screen shows an “Unlock License” button, click this to trigger an unlock request.

Follow any prompts that appear.

Log Out of Other Devices

If the license is still tied to another machine, ensure it's logged out on that device first.

Only one device can use a license at a time.

Clear License from Server (Agent Required)
If the license remains locked and none of the steps above work:

Contact Evo Support and provide your username or email used in the console.

A support agent will manually release the license from the backend to allow reactivation.

Still Locked?
If your console still won’t unlock after the above steps, reach out to our support team by replying to your open ticket or starting a new one by sending us an email at [email protected]. Include a screenshot of the error and the device name or email used for login.
