Compatibility

HostedSuite connects to the Avaya IP Office through Avaya's Telephony Service Provider (TSP).


Configuration

Download and Install Avaya IP Office TSP

  1. Download and install the Avaya IP Office TSP from the Avaya IP Office User CD.

  2. Once installed, configure the Avaya IP Office TAPI driver under Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options > Advanced tab.

  3. Enter the IP address of the Avaya IP Office in the appropriate field.

NOTE:
You must configure the Avaya IP Office TAPI to use 3rd Party Mode and enter the system password. This allows EvoTech to monitor all phones on the system.


Verify TSP Configuration

To verify that the TSP is installed correctly, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Start > Run, then type dialer.exe in Windows.

  2. Under Tools > Options, you should see the IP Office lines listed in the Phone Calls dropdown.


HostedSuite Configuration

  1. Create a new Phone System in HostedSuite.

  2. Use the following settings:

    • Type: Avaya IP Office

    • (Devices) Number: The extension of the operator console you want to monitor.

    • Category: Console
