HostedSuite Integration

Introduction: This guide illustrates the process of connecting HostedSuite to the Evo Voice platform for seamless communication.

Create Users:

  1. Begin by creating an Evo Voice User for each operator in HostedSuite. Ensure users are set in Soft Phone mode.

  2. Configure user details including email address and password.

Login to HostedSuite:

  1. Access HostedSuite as an administrator.

  2. Proceed with the following steps within HostedSuite.

Create a Phone System:

The settings which are important for Evo Voice are described in the following table

Setting Description
Phone System Type Choose Voice
IP Address Generally left blank unless instructed otherwise
Devices: User Name Set to the email address chosen during Evo Voice operator user(s) creation
Devices: Password Set to the password chosen during Evo Voice operator user(s) creation
  1. Navigate to Phones > Phone Systems and select New Phone System.

  2. Specify Phone System Type as Voice.

  3. Enter User Name and Password for each Evo Voice operator user.

  4. Save the phone system configuration.

Screen Pop Settings:

  • Default screen pop settings are recommended. Check the Allow Partial Match box.

Client Screen Pops:

Configure screen pops using the Endpoint Name in Evo Voice, such as phone numbers or chat endpoint names.

Application Data Usage:

  • Utilize Application Data field on the Dial Node for various purposes:

    • Set Call Notes for incoming calls.

    • Override Caller Number displayed in the console.

Conference Calls:

  • Perform 3+ way calling from the console:

    1. Ensure an active call.

    2. Type the number to add to the conference and click the green + button.

    3. Participants will be connected into a conference.

Troubleshooting:

  • Double-check user email addresses and passwords entered in the Devices list to resolve user dropdown list issues.
